Opus 1300. Classic, 1950s-60s-style, hip-length, long-sleeved, raglan cardigan with crew neck. Knitted flat from the top down, with a textured, beaded diamond pattern around bottom half of body and ends of sleeves. Cuff and hem ribbing with contrast edge, and traditional buttoned front. This is a fully-written, original pattern inspired by hand-knitted cardigans remembered from the 50s and 60s, i.e. not an updated vintage pattern. Opus 1701. A conventional sock developed from the artwork pattern, Untitled 1700, and intended to exploit the colours and quality of Wollmeise sock yarn. The leg resembles both a twisted flower stalk and the gleaming hank of yarn, and the picot top edge is reminiscent of the broken-off top of the stalk. Optional beading around the top gives a dewdrop effect. This is a plantlike design, so the spirals are not mirrored. There are two separate, fully-written patterns for knitting cuff-down andtoe-up, and both patterns include options to knit the sock with a smallmedium or large number of sts per row. You can further adjust the width of the sock by using one of two needle sizes. That gives a total of 2 styles, 2 sock-knitting methods and 5 width-adjustments. Foot length is infinitely adjustable.
